LEWIS HAMILTON QUICKEST IN CANADA GRAND PRIX FIRST AND SECOND PRACTICE DESPITE CRASHING

Formula One champion, Lewis Hamilton crashed into the tyrewall but still stayed on top in the time sheets after heavy rains at the Canadian Grand Prix Practice on Friday.
Lewis set the  pace in the morning session when the weather was dry. However rain began to fall in the afternoon session and rendered Circuit Gilles Villeneuve undriveable.
Hamilton had this to say,
"The ending might have been so so but it generally been a pretty good day".
Hamilton's fastest lap in the dry morning of 1:16: 212 seconds was 0.415 quicker than Rosberg's fastest effort and he improved that in the afternoon to 1:15: 988 despite crunching over the break.
Overall Mercedes Lewis Hamilton came first in time sheet for practice 1 and 2, Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel came second, Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen came third while Mercedes Nico Rosberg came fourth.
