PASSENGER CAUGHT STEALING ON BOARD AERO FLIGHT TO ABUJA

A passenger, Mr. Ovuronye Mathew Dennis travelling on board 6.45am Aero flight from Lagos to Abuja on Monday was caught stealing about 150,000 Naira and 500 euros from a luggage belonging to another passenger, an Austrian, Novotny Anton, The Nation reports.
The suspect removed the bag belonging to the Austrian and stole 150,000 naira and 500 euros.
However, a female cabin crew on seeing him trying to return the bag asked him to remain seated.
When the plane landed, the Austrian raised alarm that he couldn't find his bag and the female cabin crew asked him to check the bag with Mr. Dennis.
On collecting the bag from Mr. Dennis, he discovered his money was missing. That was when other passengers descended on the Mr. Dennis and found the money with him along with marijuana.
He claimed he mistook the bag for his own.
