TRENDING: SUDANESE PRESIDENT FLIES OUT OF SOUTH AFRICA WHILE COURT HEARS CASE ON WHETHER TO ARREST HIM

Sudanese President, Omar Al Bashir who came to South Africa for the African Union Summit in Sandton, Johannesburg has flown out of South Africa as a high court continues to hear an application for his arrest for war crimes in repressing armed uprising in Sudanese region of Dafur.
Sudan's Information Minister, Ahmed Bilal Osman confirmed this. An interim order was made by a high court in Pretoria on Sunday barring President Bashir from leaving the country pending an application from civil society organisations calling for his arrest.
