NIGERIA: EFCC TO CHALLENGE THE ACQUITTAL OF FANI-KAYODE ON MONEY LAUNDERING CHARGES

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has said it will challenge the acquittal of the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on money laundering charges by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Wednesday.
Femi Fani-Kayode was discharged and acquitted of laundering 100 million Naira while he was Minister of Tourism and Culture in 2006.
The EFCC had filed a suit against him in 2013.
