Buhari called on the global community for greater assistance and support to countries facing humanitarian crisis caused by civil strife and terrorism.
The support of well meaning countries , companies and organizations is neccessary for countries like Nigeria and Syria which are greatly affected by terrorism in order to tackle the catastrophe affecting millions of people.
Buhari called on all parties involved in Syria conflict for a peaceful resolution saying that a political solution can bring an end to the conflict in Syria.
Participants at the conference included the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, Secretary General of the United nations Ban Ki Moon, King Abdullah 11 of Jordan among so many other world leaders.
