RITA ORA SUED FOR $2.4 MILLION BY JAY Z'S LABEL, ROCNATION

Rita Ora has been sued by Jay Z's record label, RocNation for $2.4 million for failing to deliver a second album,
The amount is what the record label claims to have spent on development and marketing.

The lawsuit which was filed in Manhattan states that RocNation,
"has tirelessly promoted (her) career, investing millions of dollars in marketing, recording and other costs which was intrumental in guiding Ms Ora to her current level of success and fame".

RocNation's lawsuit comes six weeks after Rita Ora filed a suit against RocNation in Los Angeles seeking a judgement that the contract she signed with RocNation at the age of 18 in 2009 was against California law.

Rita is seeking to be released of the contract.

Rita's lawyer, Howard King however says that Jay Z has promised to give Rita Ora her freedom and that RocNation's filing they believe is to preserve whatever rights RocNation's distributor, Sony Music might have, pending resolution.
