TED CRUZ CRUISES TO A WIN AT IOWA PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATING CONTEST DUSTING DONALD TRUMP

Ted Cruz has defeated Donald Trump at the Iowa presidential nominating contest for the Republican Party.
Ted Cruz, a Texan conservative senator polled 27.7% against billionaire businessman Donald Trump's 24.4% with ninety percent of the results already declared.

Florida Senator, Marco Rubio trailed behind Donald Trump with 23%.

Meanwhile Mrs Hillary Clinton a former first lady held a lead of 49.8% against 74 year old U.S. Senator from Vermont, Mr. Sanders' 49.6% with 90 percent of votes declared for Iowa Democratic Party presidential nominating contest.

Mr Trump in concedeing defeat at Iowa still believes he can win the Republican nomination. He told his supporters,

"We finished second and I just want to say, I'm really honoured and I want to congratulate Ted".
