The crisis in Bayelsa State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) took a new dimension when the state executive of the party on Saturday announced the suspension of the former governor of the state, Chief Timipre Sylva from the party.
The Bayelsa State Chairman of APC, Timipa Tiwei Orunimighe together with with the secretary of the party, Daniel Marlin announced the decision of the party through a statement made available to Sunday Vanguard in Abuja.
According to the statement, Timipre was suspended inorder to investigate cases brought against him including anti-party activities, corruption and trying to form a parallel state executive committee.
