NIGERIA: TWO CHARGED FOR CLONING THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNOR, AMBODE'S PHONE TO STEAL =N=50M

Two persons, Rilwanu Jamiu and Balogun Stanley Oyewole were on Wednesday charged to court for allegedly cloning the phone number of Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to withdraw 50 million naira from State Government account.
The fraudsters Rilwanu Jamiu and Balogun Stanley Oyewole who reside at number 10 Giwa street, off Oka Akoko street, Lagos and 65 Unity Street Ikotun respectively appeared before a Lagos Magistrate's Court sitting in Isolo on Wednesday.

The duo are facing two count charge of conspiracy to commit felony on February 10th, 2016  by obtaining on false pretence and cloning of the Glo line of the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode with intent to induce him by false pretence and using the Glo line to send a text message for the transfer of the sum of 50 million naira from State Government account thereby committing an offence punishable under section 312(2) and (3) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
