President Obama is expected to be joined by the First Lady, Michelle Obama. They are scheduled to have lunch with Queen Elizabeth II on Friday, a day after her 90th birthday.
Obama and Michelle will also attend a dinner hosted by Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry at Kensington Palace.
It is expected that during his visit to the UK, Obama will try to persuade the Prime Minister, David Cameron not to ditch Britain's membership of the European Union ahead of June 23 referendum.
