NBA/Lakers star, Kobe Bryant played his final game on Wednesday, 13th April at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles, California.
Kobe flew to his final game in a helicopter, a reminder of his larger than life personae.

Kobe sat in the front row for the night's opening festivities as celebrities and Lakers stars paid homage to him for his 20 years in NBA.

Kobe said after scoring 60 points at the final game, the highest scoring performance ever by a player in his final game, rallying Lakers to beat Utah by 101-96 that the "coolest thing is that my kids actually saw me play as I used to play".

He enjoyed one last post game session still wearing his Lakers uniform.

After answering questions he got dressed and he and his family went back to the court where he wrote, "Lakers For Life".

Kobe hugged Shaquille O'neal, his Lakers teammate and arch rival during the early years of his Lakers career.

After the game, Kobe took the microphone and thanked his fans saying, 'Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys".

Several celebrities including Kanye West, who seemed in awe of Kobe's performance at his final game, Jay Z, Lamar Odom to mention a few came to watch Kobe play his last game.
