Chris Rock who hosted the 2016 Oscars had shaded Jada who brought attention to Oscars 2016 not nominating black actors for their artistic excellence which led to a boycott of the show by many black actors.
Chris had said,
"Jada said she's not coming. I was like,'Isn't she on a TV show?' Jada's gonna boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's parties. I wasn't invited!", to which the crowd at the Oscars burst out laughing.
Chris Rock was just cracking a joke as a comedian and he did an excellent job hosting the Oscars.
As Jada made her way to Los Angeles Airport, she was asked by photographers what she thought about Chris Rock's diss and she said,
"It comes with the territory, sweetheart, 'Hey look, it comes with the territory but we gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. There's a lot of stuff we gotta handle, a lot of stuff in our world right now. We gotta keep it moving".
Very classy answer from Jada,. History will remember her forever for speaking out for black actors.
